Mommy and Me Photoshoot - Georgetown, ON

If you have read anything about what to wear to a photoshoot recently, including the info package I send out to my own clients you will see that the trend of years gone by to dress identically is now considered dated and instead the preference is for families dressed only in similar tones.  In 99% of cases I totally agree.  So you may be suprized to see the following photos I took of my dauther and I in matching, dresses, hair and accessories.  I just could not resist.  I have always dreamed of dressing just like my baby girl, all matchy poo and sugary sweet, like since I was a little girl myself.  Not to mention there is nothing that makes Yoyo happier then getting dolled up from head to toe, just like mommy.  I was so excited when I found a clothing line out of China that makes hundreds of differently styled matching mommy and me outfits, I went a bit crazy and we are now the proud owners of four sets!  My extravagance is your good luck because I plan to keep these sets in the s&y props case for all of you to wear as well.  Just let me know if you want a perfectly matching mommy and me session.  Fits moms size 6-14 and girls size 12 months - 6T.

I heart faces - Black and White

 

Yoyo was my willing model the other day when I was experimenting with foreground bokeh  and prisming. I loved the black and white a lot but the subtle monochromatic look of the colour version appealed to me too.
